This interactive, experiential multimedia workshop on empowered learning is based on Susan Frey's book, The Road to Avalon II: Cultivating Spirituality in the Classroom. Integrating whole-brain multi-sensorial experience within enriched environments improves student behavior and attitudes, enhances well-being and enriches the classroom experience for teachers and students. An enriched environment helps teachers to work smarter, students to learn faster and supports the fullest realization of our learning potential. This workshop is approved for Professional Development Points for educators and designers and is presented as a half or full-day workshop. This program was presented at the popular Learning and the Brain conference; Using Brain Research to Leave No Child Behind in Boston, MA April 27, 2003.

Click here to request more information Click here to return to top of page Spiritual Space: A Metaphor for Healing and Transformation Workshops for Architects, Designers and Healthcare Professionals This interactive, experiential and innovative workshop explores the multi-sensory considerations within the architectural, built environment as they impact healing in mind, body and spirit. It is about designing space from a naturopathic point of view. This highly entertaining program was presented at the 2000 international Symposium on Healthcare Design in Anaheim, California and was accredited for continuing education credits for the target audience of architects, interior designers and healthcare professionals. These innovative programs are offered in schools as a holistic approach to the well-being of the person and place: the built environment, the person within the environment and the culture of the institution working together to optimize our inherent spiritual potential as human beings.
